In the summer of 2020, we knew that our Boxer, Fletcher, didn't have long left with us due to a bad heart condition. I wanted to make a memorial for him, so I did what I love to do. I got a piece of clay and started to sculpt him. We lost him sooner than we expected, but it was lovely to have done the sculpture of him. Maybe other people would love one too? So Sleepy Dog Sculptures was born, and they had to have a beautiful bed to go to their new owners in and a certificate too.

 Originally sculpted in clay with careful attention to detail by me, Ellinor. I then make a mould and each Sleepy Dog is cast, polished, and mounted on hand-cut Lakeland slate bases at my Lincolnshire Studio. Hand-engraved with an edition number, it arrives in a stunning box with a Certificate of Authenticity.
